Tuesday Roll Call
Good Morning All,
Is anyone doing anything for New Years Eve? We are going out for an early dinner, then home. We will probably stay home New Years Day too, and watch the bowl games.
Work is very quiet this week. people think we are closed. No such luck.
Crystal, your wedding plans sound good. The Nappa Valley is a beautiful place, for a wedding or vacation. Yahoo! you outlasted your boss.
Dawn, we know you are enjoying having Liv home.
Christine, are you getting back into the swing of things?
I am seeing a client coming in, so......
Hugs,
Hi Lisa and Pals,
I survived a very stressful day yesterday. Today is calm. Hard to remember things can change so quickly when I am fussing.
Crystal, I love Napa. I love the area. What a gorgeous place to begin your new life. I love the Calistoga mud baths.
G is working on New Years Eve, so no special plans. We are tentatively spending New Years a Day at my brothers house if he is well enough. He's been sick for about a month, but is recovering and insists on hosting.
Just paying a couple bills, cooking a meatloaf and cleaning today.
Hugs,
sharon
Hello everyone
I go today to turn in my keys at my old place and pay them the lease pay off fee. Hopefully they will give me my deposit back. I want to use it to fund a trip to see Amanda in April.
For New Years Eve Greg is taking me to a restaurant called Ron of Japan in Northbrook. It's supposed to be super yummy. Afterwards we are going to his sister's house for a "pajama jam"...yep we are supposed to show up in our jammies and ring in the new year. Sounds like fun.
But a quiet night at home is not such a bad thing. So if that's what you guys are doing....enjoy.
Sharon- I love those mud baths. They look wonderful. I was looking at the website and there was a link to area lodging. And there was the cutest B & B with individual cottages. They look so quaint. The whole town looks great. There is so much I want to do when I am out there. I don't think I will fit it all in. I also want to take a day trip into San Francisco.
Yes my soon to be ex-boss is being so nice to me now. I don't know what to think. Is she realizing that her attitude is getting her no where??? But all I care about is I will be with someone new soon.
Well better get back to work. Have a good day all.
Hi Everyone!
I was all prepared to be better at posting and have had time off and I got food poisoning on Christmas! I kid Rick that this was his special gift to me. So after several days of spending time in the and the rest Iam back to normal today.
Yesterday I tried to get Ricks Christmas present up and running. He needed an new hard drive and I found one on sale on one of Amazon's side sites for a really good price. So I bought it and it is not working. After spending much of yesterday working with it, I wrote them. They do not have a replacement as it was a special deal and all they will do is refund my money. I am so disappointed. I am still hoping we can get it working. It is telling me the registration key has expired. I am like what the heck??? It was a refurbished computer. I have never bought one but I thought why not give it a try? All he does is email and use netflix. Well, I guess I know why I should not go that route.
We have no plans for New Years eve. We are not drinkers. We will stay home and watch the cats try to kill each other. Nibbles gets really playful around 11:30 and it becomes a free for all. I discovered that he is a main coon cat and I was reading up on the breed last night and I almost woke Rick up when I got to the part that they are not full grown until they are 3-4 years old and can reach up to 46 inches long! He is bigger than anyone of the cats now! I think we have a monster on our hands! Thank goodness he is such a gentle cat.
Gage is coming to visit on Sunday and will be with us for almost a week. That is the longest he has stayed in quite a while. I am excited to have him.
Have a great day!
